Terms and Conditions - 500 Club
These Terms and Conditions ("T&Cs") govern your participation in the Settle Victoria Hall 500 Club ("500 Club" or "the Club") organized by Settle Victoria Hall ("the Club"). By participating in the 500 Club, you agree to comply with these T&Cs. Please read them carefully.
1. Eligibility:
1.1. The 500 Club is open to individuals who are 18 years of age or older at the time of entry.
1.2. The 500 Club is open to any individual connected to Settle Victoria Hall, including volunteers.
1.3 Employees, Trustees, and immediate family members of Settle Victoria Hall are ineligible to participate in the 500 Club.
2. Objective:
2.1. The objective of the 500 Club is to raise funds for the renovation and maintenance of Settle Victoria Hall, upkeep of facilities and equipment, and to support community initiatives.
2.2. The money generated through the 500 Club will contribute to the operation and development of Settle Victoria Hall, ensuring its continued functioning as a historic building and a hub for community activities.
3. Entry and cancellation:
3.1. Each entry into the 500 Club requires a payment of £5 per month, payable via regular direct debit.
3.2. Multiple entries are allowed. Participants can select the number of entries they wish to subscribe to on the purchase page.
3.3. By participating in the 500 Club, participants agree to the monthly direct debit being taken on or about the 10th of each month.
3.4. Participants must sign up by the 15th of the month preceding the direct debit date to ensure inclusion in the following month's draw.
3.5 Participants can cancel their entry in the 500 Club at any time by cancelling their direct debit before the 15th of the month as payment it taken on the 16th.
4. Prize Distribution:
4.1. Thirty percent (30%) of the monthly income generated by the 500 Club will be allocated to the prize fund.
4.2. The prize fund will be distributed as follows:
- Twenty percent (20%) for 1st prize
- Seven percent (7%) for 2nd prize
- Three percent (3%) for 3rd prize
4.3. An additional ten percent (10%) of the income will be allocated to a Christmas Bonus Draw, held before the 2nd Friday of December.
4.4. To qualify for the Christmas Bonus Draw, participants must have subscribed for at least three (3) months before the draw.
5. Draw Dates:
5.1. Monthly draw winners will be announced on the last Thursday of each month, starting from Thursday 28th September 2023.
5.2. Participants must have an active subscription to be eligible for each month's draw.
6. Disbursement of Prizes:
6.1. Prize winners will be notified within five (5) business days following each draw by email.
6.2. Prize winners will receive their winnings via BACS. Bank details must be provided by the winner once notified.
6.3. Prizes are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash or other alternatives.
7. Promotion of the Scheme:
7.1. By participating in the Settle Victoria Hall 500 Club, entrants agree that their name may be used for promotional purposes both online and in marketing communications related to the club.
7.2. Settle Victoria Hall reserves the right to use participants' names in promotional materials, including but not limited to social media posts, website content, newsletters, and press releases, without additional compensation or notification.
8. General Conditions:
8.1. Settle Victoria Hall reserves the right to cancel, suspend, or modify the 500 Club or these T&Cs at any time, without prior notice.
8.2. Settle Victoria Hall's decision regarding any aspect of the 500 Club, including but not limited to prize distribution and eligibility, is final and binding.
8.3. Participants are responsible for providing accurate and up-to-date information during the sign-up process.
8.4. Settle Victoria Hall will handle personal information in accordance with applicable data protection laws and its privacy policy.
8.5. These T&Cs shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which Settle Victoria Hall is located.
