Become a Patron of Settle Victoria Hall

Our three patronage options mean that you can support Victoria Hall at a level that suits you. On signing up you’ll receive news about the many activities and events at Victoria Hall, and updates on how your money is helping us to thrive. You can choose to pay the amounts listed below, or to increase the amount to whatever you feel you can.

Regular donations, on a monthly or annual basis by direct debit, are vital to the running of Victoria Hall, in this uncertain time more than ever. Regular support means that we can budget for the year ahead, plan for the future – and make the most of your generous donations.

In recognition of your commitment we offer a range of benefits:

Bronze Patron

£4 per month or more

  • Receive our newsletter and invitations to our special events throughout the year

Silver Patron

£10 per month or more

  • Receive our monthly newsletter, invitations to special events throughout the year

  • 2 complementary tickets per year to either a cabaret seating style event or a cinema event

  • 10% off any SVH merchandise

  • Your name will be listed as a Silver Patron of SVH on our website (if you wish)

Gold Patron

£100 per month or more

  • Perfect for local business sponsorship

  • Receive our newsletter, invitations to special events, plus 20% discount for group bookings and event hire of the hall

  • 10 complementary tickets per year to either a cabaret seating style event or a cinema event

  • Your name or the name of your business will be listed as a Gold Patron of SVH on our website (if you wish)

Remember, you can gift-aid your donations if you are a UK tax payer. This does not cost you any extra, but means that we can claim an extra 25p for every £1 you donate!

    Settle Victoria Hall has been a pillar of the local community since 1853. From theatre productions to exercise classes, and beer festivals to music concerts, the hall has a long-standing tradition of bringing vibrant arts and culture to Settle.

    Gifts in Wills not only show us what Victoria Hall means to you, but also offer an important source of support towards protecting this heritage site in the future.

  • Did you know that whenever you buy anything online – from your weekly shop to your annual holiday – you could be raising free donations for Settle Victoria Hall with easyfundraising?

  • You can sponsor a seat in our balcony, and have an engraved plaque with your name or other message of your choice fixed to your chosen seat. Seat sponsorship costs £100 for the first year, and £50 for any subsequent years. Download a sponsorship form here.

  • Our annual Beer Festival is a highlight of our calendar, and we have an amazing set of local sponsors who come back year after year to add their names to a half- or whole barrel. Sponsorship is hugely popular, so don’t delay- contact us to find out more.

  • Get your name in lights by sponsoring one of our events! Our shows attract people from throughout North and West Yorkshire, Lancashire, Cumbria, and beyond; the perfect way to expand your company’s reach.

    Our hugely popular brochure goes out three times a year to between 30,000 and 40,000 addresses throughout Craven and into Lancashire, Cumbria and West Yorkshire. Various sponsorship options are available- Contact us to find out more.

  • The Ian Jones bursary is set up in memory of Settle Victoria Hall's sound engineer, technical consultant, and very dear friend, Ian Jones, who sadly passed away in March 2023. Ian was a long-standing member of the Victoria Hall family, without whose skill, knowledge, passion and experience Victoria Hall would not be the venue it is today, and we want to honour his memory by helping to train a future technician to carry on Ian's legacy.

    The bursary will fund a traineeship for a stage technician, who will be employed at Victoria Hall while developing the skills and experience to make a career as a technician in the live events sector. All donations toward the fund are gratefully accepted in memory of our much-loved friend.
