Privacy policy and your data

When you book tickets at Victoria Hall, sign up to our mailing list, or provide us with personal details for any other reason (for example, becoming a member or hiring rooms), we will always make sure that your data is stored securely, and only used with your explicit consent. We will never pass your details on to any third party, other than the online platforms which we use for ticketing and email newsletters, whose details are below. 

When you book tickets; 

We will take a contact telephone number and/or email address. Unless you opt in to our mailing list, we will only ever use these details to contact you about the tickets you have bought, for instance in the event that a show is cancelled or postponed. We may also take a postcode or home address, which is optional, and will only ever be used to give us an idea of the general demographic of customers for an event. We process all ticket sales through Ticketsource, whose privacy policy can be read here.

When you opt into our mailing list;

Our mailing list is hosted by Mailchimp, whose privacy policy can be read here. You can opt out at any time by emailing us, or by clicking 'unsubscribe' at the bottom of any mailing list email that you have received. We will never contact you for marketing purposes by phone, text/sms, or post, unless you have specifically asked us to do so. 

Other use of data

When we take your contact details for any purpose, such as room hire or membership of Settle Victoria Hall Ltd., your details are stored securely by us, and will be securely destroyed once we no longer need to contact you, or if you ask us to do so.
