Furness Music Centre, a charity based in the south of the Lake District, provide opportunities for people of all ages and all abilities to meet and make music together. Each year Furness Music Centre takes some of its members on a summer tour, and this year they are touring Yorkshire. They will be performing several concerts taking in each of the three Ridings, with about 40 members forming a Chamber Orchestra and a Chamber Choir to perform a wide variety of pieces from ’classical’ to ‘songs from the shows’.
