Don’t miss a fantastic opportunity to see some astonishing archive footage revealing rural North Yorkshire at its very best, including films of Settle itself, all curated by the Yorkshire Film Archive.
Explore rural Yorkshire’s rich film heritage – who knows, you might spot some familiar faces, or maybe even yourself, as we reveal fascinating footage from across the decades.
Some of this footage will be from the Eddie Percy Archive. Percy was a local man from Settle and Settle Stories with support from local people are fundraising to digitise the Percy collection. Proceeds for this event will go towards these fundraising efforts.
Settle on Film is part of the Yorkshire Film Archives, Moving North: Rural touring programme of archive screenings and events in communities across Yorkshire, the North East and Cumbria, delivered by Yorkshire Film Archive as part of the BFI’s UK wide Britain on Film project.
