The Courthouse Kids Theatre presents ‘Alice - The Movie’, a film adaptation of the musical Alice in Wonderland.
“When Covid struck in 2020 and we had to cancel our production of ‘Alice in Wonderland' the week we were due to open onstage at the Victoria Hall, we decided we wouldn’t be beaten by this unknown virus.
“So, we set about making a film. A lot had to be filmed outside and indoor recording was limited to 6 people. Undeterred, and with the unflagging help and hard work of a lot of people, we now have a film: ‘Alice - The Movie’.
“Our young stars were marvelous and learned how different filming is to being onstage, so we all learned a lot and loved doing it. Do come along and support our efforts. In years to come our young people will be able to say with pride: ‘We made a film during Covid’.”
